Complimentary Guest Passes: For all adult full memberships paid up front you will receive 10 guest passes. For all adult off peak memberships paid up front you will receive 5 guest passes. The member must accompany the guest at all times.

PLEASE NOTE: THE SPRINGFIELD COUNTRY HOTEL, LEISURE CLUB & SPA RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CLOSE ANNUALLY OVER THE CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR PERIOD. MEMBERS COMMITMENT TO THE SPRINGFIELD COUNTRY HOTEL, LEISURE CLUB & SPA IS FOR THE WHOLE YEAR AS SPECIFIED. THE MEMBER IS LIABLE TO PAY ALL MONTHLY INSTALMENTS FOR THE ENTIRE MEMBERSHIP YEAR. THE RATES ABOVE INCLUDE VAT AT THE CURRENT RATE OF 20% THIS RATE WILL VARY WITH LEGISLATIVE CHANGE. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ALTER SUBSCRIPTION RATES WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE. Springfield Club Rules
- The name of the club is Springfield country club (“the Club”)
- The objects of the club are to provide for its members leisure facilities for swimming, tennis, squash, gymnasium and snooker, together with any further additional leisure facilities, with all the usual amenities of a club including a restaurant and bar.
- The Club is a proprietary club, the proprietor being Springfield country hotel(Stoborough) limited of Springfield country hotel, grange road, stoborough, Wareham, Dorset (“the proprietor”). The proprietor shall be exclusively responsible for providing and maintaining club facilities.
- The general management of the affairs of the club in all matters shall be under the entire control of, and be conducted by, the appointed representative of the proprietor.
- A candidate for membership must complete and submit such form of application as may be prescribed by the proprietor.
- A person residing at Springfield country hotel shall during his/her period of residence at the hotel, be entitled to use all the facilities of the club and shall be treated for such period of time as a member of the club.
- The club premises are the leisure complex located in the grounds of Springfield country hotel but do not include the function rooms on the ground floor of the complex. Membership of the club does not entitle a member to make use of the facilities of Springfield country hotel.
- A register of members shall be kept at the club containing the names and address of all members. It shall be the responsibility of each member to inform the club of any change to his/her address. All communications to a member posted to his/her registered address shall be deemed effective given two days after the date of posting.
- Membership of the club does not entitle a member to admission to the club premises or any part of them in the event of the club premises or any part of them being full. The proprietor reserves the right to close for a maximum of 21 days in any calendar year. Every member shall produce on entering the club premises his/her membership card. A member shall sign on admission the club attending register and shall procure that any guest he introduces to the club shall sign the register
- The annual subscription shall be such as the proprietor may determine from time to time and shall be payable on the date in each year as determined by the proprietor. The proprietor reserves the right to determine the charges to be made for the use of certain facilities of the club. Members commitment to the Springfield country club is for the whole, half or quarter year as specified. When paying by standing order the member is liable to pay all monthly instalments for the entire annual membership an administration fee will be payable when the membership is not continuous. A fee of £45.00 per adult and £15.00 per child.
- The proprietor may terminate membership of a member of the club if his/her subscription has not been paid within 28 days after falling due.
- The proprietor may withdraw membership at any time of any member without giving a reason therefor. in those circumstances, the proprietor shall determine at its own discretion whether to make a refund of a proportionate part of the subscription. Further, the proprietor shall have the power to suspend or deny admission to the club premiss to any member or his/her guest who shall act contrary to the rules and regulations of the club or whose presence on the club premises would in the option of the proprietor be prejudicial of the club or its members.
- Guests may be admitted to the club premises provided they are accompanied by a full member. No member is entitled on one occasion to introduce more than three guests. The proprietor reserves the right at any time to refuse admission to a guest. The fees for a guest shall be payable in accordance with the rates applicable at the time.
- The sale and supply of intoxicating liquor in the club shall be permitted during the general licencing hours in force within the licensing district of Wareham, and the bar opening hours shall be fixed by the proprietor. Intoxicating liquor shall be sold only in accordance with the terms and conditions imposed by the justices’ licence granted in respect of the club premises.
- No person under the age of 16 shall be admitted to full membership of the club. Children under the age of 16 shall not be allowed into the club unless under full time supervision of an adult, who shall be solely responsible for the safety and control of such children. Children under the age of 16 years shall not be permitted in the snooker room unless accompanies by an adult.
- The proprietor shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage to property of a member or guest whatsoever or any bodily injury, death or illness of any member or guest howsoever caused, sustained or incurred, arising out of, or in any way connected with the use of any of the equipment and/or facilities of the club. Members are reminded that the use of certain facilities could be dangerous to a person suffering from certain medical conditions and such members should therefore obtain medical advice using such facilities.
- The proprietor may from time to time revoke, vary, add to or alter the rules of the club and shall be the sole authority for interpreting the rules and for setting all disputes relating to the affairs of the club and the conduct of the members of their guests. Further, the proprietor may in addition make regulations as to the proper running of the club and its facilities and the conduct of the members.
